About us

The Tanzania Network for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (TANTVET) is a national, non-profit professional network established 2025 and registrar as an NGO under the NGOs Act No.24, 2002. The main aim is to bring together stakeholders involved in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Tanzania. The Network was formed in response to the growing need for coordination, collaboration, and advocacy within the TVET ecosystem, in line with national development priorities and labour market demands.

TANTVET serves as a platform for dialogue, partnership, and collective action among TVET institutions, government agencies, industry players, professional bodies, development partners, trainers, and trainees. The Network operates in alignment with Tanzania’s development frameworks, including Vision 2050, the TVET Development Strategy, and sectoral skills development initiatives.
